Mozilla Firefox là trình duyệt nhỏ gọn, tốc độ cao và rất dễ sử dụng, cung cấp nhiều tính năng ưu việt hơn các trình duyệt web khác, như khả năng chặn pop-up và duyệt web theo thẻ, tích hợp với Google search, quản lý quyền riêng tư đã được đơn giản hóa, cửa sổ trình duyệt được sắp xếp hợp lý giúp bạn quan sát được nhiều trang hơn trình duyệt khác và một số tính năng mà bạn có thể sử dụng mỗi khi trực tuyến.
Những điểm mới trong phiên bản 7.0:
- Nhanh chóng cải thiện bộ nhớ trong.
- Thêm tính năng Render phụ nhằm tăng tốc Canvas trong hệ thống Windows.
- Bookmark và thay đổi mật khẩu sẽ được đồng bộ ngay lập tức khi sử dụng tính năng Firefox Sync.
- Tiền tố địa chỉ ‘http://’ giờ đây sẽ được ẩn theo mặc định
- Thêm hỗ trợ cho text-overflow: ellipsis
- Thêm hỗ trợ cho Web Timing specification.
- Cải thiện khả năng hỗ trợ cho MathML
- Giao thức WebSocket đã được cập nhật từ phiên bản 7 lên phiên bản 8.
- Bổ sung thêm tính năng gửi dữ liệu có liên quan tới hiệu suất hoạt động của Firefox cho hãng Mozilla để giúp họ cải thiện những phiên bản tiếp theo.
- Xử lý các lỗi liên quan đến sự ổn định của Firefox.
